About the federation
The Trinidad and Tobago Chess Association is the governing body for chess in Trinidad and Tobago. We run the national championships, keep the ratings, train arbiters and select the teams that represent Trinidad and Tobago abroad.
Our mission
To organise and promote chess in Trinidad and Tobago: national championships, junior and schools chess, rated events and the national teams.
The federation sanctions tournaments, publishes the rating list and selects national teams for the Chess Olympiad and youth events.
It is run by an elected council of volunteers. Clubs and schools affiliate to the federation, and players join as members.

A stronger rating list every year and players from both islands at every Olympiad.
